I interned at the Rayalaseema HarijanaGirijana Backward Minorities SevaSamajam which works as a platform for education and development, the Mahilasangham where I counselled with rape victims, juveniles etc., and Jus dicerewhere I helped in drafting and research. In all my internships, the research expertise I gained at GITAM School of Law helped me excel. Further, the confidence I gained from participation in various competitions at GITAM School of Law help me manoeuvre boldly into the professional world of internships.
For practical training, I worked on the issue of ‘Child Rights and Urban Poor’ with the Association for Promoting Social Action. I also worked with the Jharkhand State Human Rights Commission on the issue of ‘Prisoner’s Rights’. Both of these were research-based internships. The skills of research and drafting that I picked up while working on projects in GITAM School of Law helped me do well on my internships.

One of my internships was at the prestigious law firm- Fox and Mandal, Kolkata. My work there involved matters relating to Contracts, Trusts, Stamp Act, and the Foreign Exchange Management Act. I was prepared to handle this variety of subjects mostly because our curriculum at GITAM prepares us for the study of such a heterogenous mix of subjects.
